Alex has always shown an aptitude for singing andacting. Although he showed promise in his drama classes and music classes, Alex could not wait to get out of school and into the “business”. With no formal training and virtually no experience, this was almost impossible, so because of his size and structure, Alex decided to become a bodyguard, after all this would be looking after the actors/singers he so admired. After several years and much success looking after the likes of The Gap Band, Eurhythmics, Elvira to name but a few, Alex was approached by Metrodome Films to provide the security for their film productions, the first being Beyond Bedlam with Liz Hurley and Craig Fairbrass. Through the course of his work, Alex met several people in the business who had encouraged him to sing at parties and offered him background scenes in films, none more that one of his best mates still to this day Elio Pace. Elio was so impressed with Alex’s potential and singing ability, that he encouraged Alex to leave the security business and enrol onto a post-graduate drama and singing course at The London School of Musical Theatre. So, Alex being the strong believer that life is not a rehearsal, took the bull by the horns and applied to the school and after a gruelling audition was accepted onto the course and so started his acting and singing career. After Alex graduated, he auditioned for the German production of The Buddy Holly Story for the part of the Big Bopper and after two recalls Alex was offered the role and consequently upped and moved to Hamburg in Germany for two years. On Alex’s return to the UK, he auditioned for the UK National Tour of Buddy where he met two more of his best friends, Van Zeiler who played the part of Buddy and Victoria Stilwell who played his wife Maria Elena. During this time Alex was approached by Wendy Lee Management who offered to represent him both as a singer and as an actor. Alex then went on to appear in the BBC’s Sorry About Last Night and My Hero, starring Arden Ohandlen. For ITV Make My Day and a TV commercial for Robbie Williams’ album Escapology. Alex also appeared in the feature film Snatch with Brad Pitt and Guy Ritchie, on which Alex had a bad accident and dislocated his knee. During a long period of recuperation, Alex made the decision to record a selection of his favourite songs including his own composition Goodbye Sweetheart. After a long period of rest Alex has now decided to get back to where he left off, only this time bigger and better than ever!!
